The raindrop size distribution data of Typhoon was observed by a laser optical precipitation particle spectrometer from 10 to 11,August,2009, in Nanjing, according to this data, we found that the precipitation of typhoon " Morakot " was convective precipitation with the characteristics of periodicity and multi-waves difference of microphysics. Raindrop Size Distribution in different segment of Morakot are different from each other, at the first segment, the size distributions was relative wider, the number concentration of small drops(D<1.0mm)is low, but midsize(1.0mm3.0mm)were high. The second segment of Morakot had larger concentriations of small and midsize drops than the first segment, but the size distributions were narrow. The precipitation of third segment, high concentrations of small and midsize drops were present ,was strongest, and the size distributions was larger than others. The fourth segment, the end of precipitation, had large concentrations of small drop and lowest concentrations of midsize and large drops , moreover, the size distributions were narrower than others. Difference of DSD in different segment indicate that the evolution of microphysics structure and the characteristics of this typhoon precipitation was different.
