Radar wind profiler and other observations at the Texas 2000 Air Quality Study

A network of radar wind profilers was deployed in the Houston area for the Texas 2000 Air Quality Study in August and September 2000. A wide variety of other measurement platforms were also deployed, including several aircraft, lidars, sodars, surface meteorological and flux sites, and ground-based chemistry instruments. We will present early results from the integrated suite of measurements describing the land/sea breeze circulation and other meteorological phenomena with air quality implications.
