Colorado's Extreme Elevations

With more than 50 mountain peaks over 14-thousand feet in elevation, Colorado boasts the highest average elevation of any state in the U.S. We explore Colorado's extreme elevations beginning with our world famous skiing. We'll then take you on a hike, climbing some of the state's “14'ers.” Finally, for those up for something a little less challenging, a way to reach to top of one of Colorado's tallest peaks via the highest paved road in North America.
