NPOESS/MetOp Program Status

In this presentation, leaders from the European Organisation for the Exploitation of Meteorological Satellites (EUMETSAT) and the National Polar-orbiting Operational Environmental Satellite System (NPOESS) will provide information on the status of their respective programs. They will inform about cooperation on the utilization of data and products provided by satellites from the Initial Joint Polar System (IJPS) and common interests toward improved satellite inter-calibration. In addition, they will provide insight into areas of future EUMETSAT/US cooperative efforts where coordinated development will open new opportunities for complementary satellite systems.
