NPOESS Preparatory Project Discrepancy Report Assessment Team
Hall E (New Orleans Convention Center )
Ashley Nechole Griffin, NOAA/NESDIS/JPSS/PRAXIS, Lanham, MD; and H. Kilcoyne and N. Baker

In preparation for the launch of the NPOESS Preparatory Project (NPP), our Discrepancy Report Assessment Team (DRAT) existed to log and track issues during the satellite development process to ensure that they were monitored and remedied to guarantee the success of the Intensive Calibration and Validation phase (ICV).

Now that we are in our post launch phase, the DRAT is being used to log issues during the NPP ICV process to make certain that the best information is available for analysis and research.

This poster will show the different teams that can submit discrepancies to the DRAT, the different types of discrepancies that can be raised, as well the system for tracking and fixing an issue once it has been found.
