The University of Wisconsin-Madison Cooperative Institute for Meteorological Satellite Studies (CIMSS) maintains a popular Satellite Blog (http://cimss.ssec.wisc.edu/goes/blog) with a history exceeding ten years. Each year, some blog posts (that are also tweeted from @CIMSS_Satellite) penetrate farther into Social Media than others (as measured by webhits, or retweets, or favorites). This post will describe the most popular posts of 2015 and offer explanations for why a particular post has become popular.
