Much of the Algorithm Scientific Software Integration and System Transition Team's (ASSISTT) Research-to-Operations (R2O) effort involves helping algorithm teams through the review process for their project. Each review process has a standard set of gate reviews and documentation. ASSIST is developing a content generation system which helps communicate knowledge of a project in standard, repeatable, and industry-accepted format. This system generalizes a process to track changes in content, enforce consistency, and automatically generate presentations, documents, and spreadsheets from existing data sources, such as spreadsheets and databases. This centralization of data will also supplement and streamline quality control, auditing, and compliance tracking. ASSISTT is leveraging internal knowledge and experience to prioritize the automation of documenting requirements, risks, and record progression through a project's lifecycle. Through consolidation of data, and enforced consistency, ASSISTT is reducing time spent performing common and repeatable slide creation and documentation tasks by using the information and metadata to capture, measure, and track changes over the course of a project and contract.
