UCAR's Unidata Program Center continues to work with the National Weather Service and Raytheon to provide a non-operational version of the AWIPS II software package to the academic and research community. This presentation will touch on the status of AWIPS II at Unidata, newly-supported data types and visualization plugins, and present an overview of the Python Data Access Framework and its integration with other Unidata technologies.
