Meteorological parameters impact the performance and reliability of important commercial products. Parameters studied include humidity, temperature, solar radiation and wind. Important products include batteries, air bags, solar panels, antenna towers or mobile phones.  When multiple parameters reach extreme levels in combination, we find peak impact on such products.  We have implemented proprietary tools which compile world-wide observations from readily available meteorological data sources into a correlated data set.  We analyze specific parameters or composite indexes of multiple parameters.  In cooperation with thermal and electrical engineers, we analyze the relationship between parameter extremes and determine their impact.  This analysis enables our customers and the general public to react with social policies and engineering practices which deal with the challenges of extreme meteorological conditions on important products and goods.
