Cory Springer is a member of the Ball Aerospace Strategic Operations organization in Arlington, Virginia. He joined the Ball team in December 2009, and as Director, Weather and Environment, he is responsible for collaborating across the Ball business units developing business strategies, and engaging customers on company satellite programs related to Earth remote sensing, meteorology, oceanography, space weather and climate. Prior to Ball, Cory served over 24 years with the U.S. Navy as a Meteorology and Oceanography Officer. He spent significant time in operational positions, both at-sea and ashore. He holds a B.S. degree in Oceanography from the U.S. Naval Academy, Annapolis, Maryland, and an M.S. degree in Meteorology and Physical Oceanography from the Naval Postgraduate School, Monterey, California.
