Procedure for Assessing Wind Damage to Wood-Framed Residences

This paper will present a methodology for assessing wind damage to wood-framed residences. The type of attachment to various foundations will be discussed including concrete slab, pier and beam, block, concrete masonry, and poured foundation walls. F-scale ratings and failure wind speeds also will be discussed.
