The World Meteorological Organization and the Bureau International des Poids et Mesures convened a joint meeting September 26-30, 2022 to address the critical needs for measurement accuracy and characterization for observations to support climate action. The meeting included 1078 registered participants and over 200 recorded sessions. This presentation will summarize the recommendations and follow up actions to support implementation. The International Committee for Weights and Measures has established a Task Group as a follow up to the workshop which is aiming to put together a coordinated response to workshop's recommendations--and is looking forward to working with experts across all domains to to address these recommendations.
