Her success record includes results-driven business development, capture of over $250 million in contracts, and operations for a broad range of U.S. and international customers, including NOAA Fisheries and Oceans, the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), the U.S. Department of Defense, the National Institutes of Health (NIH), the New Zealand Ministry of Primary Industries (formerly Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries), Gen-i (formerly TelecomNZ), and others. For NOAA, Ms. Tarquin built a substantial portfolio of marine, ocean, and coastal science, technical and professional services valued at over $20 million in annual revenue in less than five years. She created and led a highly scalable and effective Program Management Office (PMO) that drove successful business development and operations across eight major competitive Federal IDIQ contracts, receiving CPARS Exceptional and Very Good ratings for the delivery of 100+ task orders and oversight of 250+ employees working across nine time zones. Ms. Tarquin also works closely with non-profits and non-government entities to help them meet their resource needs, provide unique opportunities for employees to add value to local communities, support Science Technology Engineering Mathematics (STEM) initiatives, and increase diversity and inclusion in the marine, ocean, and coastal science field as a whole. Ms.Tarquin graduated magna cum laude from Georgetown University with a B.S. in International Business and Marketing, and holds Project Management Professional (PMP), Agile, and ITIL certifications. She is based on Oahu, Hawaii, and is a dual U.S.-NZ citizen.
