Engagements with convergence science can promote inclusive science, expand interinstitutional possibilities, recognize and integrate diverse knowledges, and build representation of diverse knowledge holders. This session provides a series of empirical, institutional, and practice-based examples of integrating weather and climate science. We also examine opportunities and challenges of convergence science to accelerate inclusive possibilities for such work in various geographic, cultural, and scientific contexts. This session includes scientists, researchers, and resource managers and studies of fisheries, marine and coastal resources, and geophysical processes.
