Elizabeth C Weatherhead, Jupiter Intelligence, Lafayette, CO; and S. Lee

The World Meteorological Organization and the Bureau International des Poids et Mesures convened a joint meeting September 26-30, 2022 to address the critical needs for measurement accuracy and characterization for observations to support climate action. The meeting included 1078 registered participants and over 200 recorded sessions. This presentation will summarize the recommendations for the Atmospheric Chemistry and Physics section. The resultant recommendations covered five topics: Continuity, Tiered Networks and Low Cost Sensors, Beginning to End Measurement Requirements, Aerosols and Trace Gases, and Spectroscopic Measurements.
