This proposed panel session will call on experts from various backgrounds, each proposing “What if…” scenarios that could face the weather enterprise in the future. These “What if…” scenarios will be used to engage audience discussion regarding the implications of future technological advancement, scientific discovery, and potential obstacles that could arise over the next several decades. Topics for this session can include any work (past/present/future) pertaining to the field of meteorology that could have significant implications to society.
