Solicit either presentations (possibly invited) and/or a panel discussion on how utilities and/or the energy sector at large plan for and communicate weather threats throughout their organizations. Additionally, case studies of high-impact weather events over the past several years can be discussed to provide attendees thought partnership on the successful ways to communicate weather hazards and showcase different methods of organizational response (e.g. incident management team practices and structures, emergency operations centers, etc.). If there are enough submitted talks/sessions could be grouped by type of weather event (winter storm, fire weather, etc.). This topic may draw additional attendees from the National Weather Service and Weather Ready Nation who tend to partner with utilities for decision support.
