Advances in the analysis of “big data”, machine learning, and applications of artificial intelligence may help to strengthen environmental health preparedness, but it remains unclear how emerging technologies can be best harnessed to maximize benefits and reduce harms. We invite abstracts that describe efforts to apply novel and emerging technologies to address research and policy challenges related to environmental hazard prediction and response.
