Description:
Weather and climate extremes are increasingly connected to mental health and wellbeing, as well as increasing conflict and migration in some locations globally. The mental health consequences of extreme events––both short- and long-term––may include mild stress, high-risk coping behaviors, and mental health disorders such as anxiety, depression, and post-traumatic stress. We seek abstracts submitted on these and other topics studying connections between climate, weather, and mental health.
Submission Deadline: Thursday, 31 August 2023
