Recent extreme weather events have increased awareness of the impact of climate change on the earth’s ecosystems – and the resulting impacts on society as ecosystem services such as food, water, security, and shelter are under increasing stress. This session invites abstracts on developments in ecosystems modeling and ecological forecasting and their application to providing insight into changes in the natural environment and the impact of these changes on society.
