Description:
Understanding anthropogenic effects on extreme weather and climate events is key to informing future infrastructure development, economic growth, ecosystem management, and healthcare needs. We encourage submissions on how human-caused climate change may have affected the predictability, intensity, duration, magnitude, and likelihood of recent extreme events, including, but not limited to heat, drought, extreme rainfall, and flooding. We also encourage abstracts that establish links between extreme events in the context of climate change and resilience efforts for at-risk populations.
Submission Deadline: Thursday, 15 August 2024
