It is well-known that the impacts of global climate change have been particularly noticable in the arctic. There is a considerable amount of interest in arctic security in the context of climate change due to the potential for increased navigation and resource exploration, but also impacts to indigenous populations in this region. This session invites research focused on the security aspects of climate change in the arctic, and other geographic regions where vulnerabilties have been documented and studied.
