Weather analysis and forecasting have long played a vital role in aviation research and operations to maintain safety and optimization of flight. More recently range and aerospace meteorologists have begun adopting or researching the viability of the use of forecast models in operations ranging from range safety to space flight vehicle loads and trajectory calculations. This session will cover the intersection of weather analysis and forecasting with aviation, range, and aerospace meteorology.
