Description:

The mission of the Joint Center for Satellite Data Assimilation (JCSDA) is to accelerate and improve the impact of research and operational satellite data in numerical environmental analyses and prediction models. The growing number and variety of satellite platforms, sensors, and owners renders this mission to be of ever-increasing importance. For this session contributions are solicited reporting on the results of efforts to assimilate new or novel satellite sensor data into environmental prediction models.
