We present a novel method to determine such cloud parameters as liquid water path and droplet size, as a function of altitude in the cloud, from a combination of active and passive sensors. In particular we will use radar, lidar and imager data. The method was tested using ground based measurements, but is intended for the future EarthCARE mission.
