Ultrafast thermometer UFT2 and high resoltution temperature measurements in Physics of Stratocumulus Top (POST)

An improved version UFT2 of the airborne ultrafast hermometer UFT was prepared for the purpose of Physics of Stratocumulus Top (POST) research campaign. Improvements include: 1)new electronics less vulnerable to high-frequency noise induced by avionics, 2)doubled temperature sensor increasing redundancy. Technical details of UFT2 construction will be presented together with a comprehensive evaluation of its performance. Details of data processing procedure will be explained and a short description of the data available in the open database will be given.
