This author proposed a Vapor Equipment and a Vapor Temperature Control Equipment for a new artificial rain technology. This Vapor Equipment, which is one part of the new artificial rain technology, makes a huge amount of vapor from sea water under sunlight, and it enable us to design and control amount, timing and area of rain. When the Vapor Equipment is large, a huge amount of vapor is made in it. The vapor is carried away into the sky and could become a cloud. This cloud can be transported to any region which requires rain by means of winds such as westerlies. Winds have characteristics such as direction and speed, which depend on a region, seasons and so on. Therefore, setting place of the Vapor Equipment should be designed on the basis of those characteristics. A Vapor Temperature Control Equipment is another part of the new artificial rain technology, which enables us to design and control direction and speed of winds including vapor made by the Vapor Equipment.
In Fukuoka prefecture of Japan, an experiment shows that some Vapor Equipments change about 0.8 kg of water to vapor per meter square per hour, and some data show that the maximum energy of sunlight in Fukuoka prefecture is about 800 watt per meter square. So we can understand that the Vapor Equipments, size of which is 720 kilometer square, will make about 1,440,000,000 kg vapor in 5 hours of daytime. This vapor can make a cloud, and the cloud can change to 1,440,000,000 kg of precipitation.
The area, amount, and timing of artificial rain can be controlled, when places and timings of the Vapor Equipments are designed well. The new artificial rain system does not produce CO2, because it uses only sunlight energy. Cost of energy for operating the new artificial rain system is free.
This paper shows how to design and operate the Vapor Equipment and the Vapor Temperature Control Equipment in detail. The new artificial rain system does not emit CO2 and does not affect much on environment in the sea. The new artificial rain system can not be broken by fishes because the Vapor Equipment and the Vapor Temperature Control Equipment are designed in a redundant way. When the new artificial rain system is developed on this design, the salt made through the operation of the Vapor Equipment and the Vapor Temperature Control Equipment can be eliminated very easily. Furthermore, the Equipments can get out the danger of storms.
