The Coupled Ocean-Atmosphere Raditive Transfer model (COART) has been updated to calculate the polarized radiation. The vector radiative transfer equation in the coupled system is solved by the discrete-ordinate method. The ocean surface roughness is consistently taken into account in the solution through the transmission and reflection matrix. The new vector COART model can calculate the polarized radiance and irradince at any levels in the atmosphere and ocean efficiently. Examples of V-COART computation are presented.
