Comparatively large uncertainties exist in the representation of ice nucleation and ice formation processes in models. Measurements of ice nuclei concentrations over temperature and water/ice saturation conditions typically found in cold clouds were conducted for the first time in S. Korea during the Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games in March 2018. This poster will present ice nuclei concentrations and ice nucleation fraction as measured by the Droplet Measurement Technologies (DMT) SPectrometer for Ice Nuclei (SPIN).
