GOES-R Legacy Atmospheric Profile Retrieval Algorithm For Final Delivery

The legacy atmospheric profile retrieval algorithm using broadband infrared (IR) observations from advanced baseline imager (ABI) onboard the next generation of geostationary environmental satellite (GOES-R) is ready for final delivery. Compared with previous versions, this version is significantly improved and much easier for maintenance. Since the program is constructed on several independent modules, it is convenient to plug in other radiative transfer models such as the community radiative transfer module (cRTM).
