Sustaining Healthy Forests: Challenges and Solutions

Invited speakers will address forest health topics such as oak decline, gypsy moth, southern pine beetle, mountain pine beetle, Nantucket pine tip moth, hemlock woolly adelgid, balsam woolly adelgid, chestnut blight, phytophthora root rot, and others. Ample time will be provided to allow for question and answer sessions. Overflow volunteer papers will be asked to give posters. The goal is to attract a large group of forest health specialists to SAF and have them present a program that will be of interest to the general forester.
