A 2-3 hour workshop on conducting environmental interpretation and education programs will be conducted. The training will include the basics of selecting themes, planning and developing presentations, and making effective presentations. Methods of matching appropriate program content and level to different audiences will be presented. Master interpreters will work with the audience to develop and enhance interpretive skills, as well as present information on the latest techniques of the field. The workshop design will be interactive with the participants actively involved in developing and evaluating programs on the site. This workshop should be back to back with the panel session on interpretation if at all possible.
