Hall B (Boston Convention and Exhibition Center)
Jessica Michael Blunt, UCAR, Boulder, CO; Univ. of Oklahoma, Norman, OK; and Y. Ho

A versatile, powerful, and underutilized data visualization program, Unidata’s Integrated Data Viewer (IDV), is presented. New features, including the ability to read KML warning files from the National Weather Service, are discussed. Several features added within the past two years are evaluated, such as various forms of isentropic analysis and processing of GOES data. The program is made more accessible by a new series of video tutorials designed for users of different levels, which are also presented. This work is presented as part of Unidata’s summer internship program.
