363880 Phase effects on scalar flux corrections for limited response sensors

A new method for recovery of flux measured with limited-response scalar sensors is proposed. The method recovers the true cospectrum from both the measured cospectrum and the measured quadrature spectrum. Utilizing the latter is the key to much improved recovered fluxes. The approach is tested both with artificially attenuated scalar data and with attenuated (due to sensor limitations) scalar measurements. It performs considerably better than methods that use only the cospectrum.
