368064 USAF 53rd Weather Reconnaissance Squadron: The Past, Present, and the Future

A quick look at the history of weather reconnaissance in the USAF, to where we are today, and what the future looks like. It all started from a barroom dare seventy seven years ago in Texas to a full fledge international military operation, that although has decreased over the years due to technology advancements, still currently sustains 10 WC-130J aircraft located at Keesler AFB, MS. Although mostly known for our hurricane operations that unit as flown winter storms, WWII nuclear, radioactive detection, and cloud seeding missions.
