Weather and Climate Modification as a Driving Force for Cloud Physics Research (Invited Presentation) (Core Science Keynote)

This is an invited presentation. In this talk I will provide a brief history of the relationship between cloud physics research and the evolution of research associated first with cloud seeding efforts, and later to understand the role of clouds in climate.
