Open, Public, Electronic and Necessary (OPEN) Government Data Act, which requires all non-sensitive government data to be made available in open and machine-readable formats by default is part of the overall Foundations for Evidence-Based Policymaking (FEBP) Act passed in late 2018. This town hall will bring together data officers and policy makers from NOAA, EPA, NASA and others to discuss the impact of the act on data management strategies going forward.
