LiDAR is the acronym for Light Detection and Ranging. It can probe into the atmosphere well beyond the regions not possible for a Radar. In the Earth's atmosphere, the planetary boundary layer is the air layer near the ground affected by diurnal heat, moisture or momentum transfer to or from the surface. In this Paper, the variation of boundary layer during night time is observed with the help of wavelet covariance transform. The boundary layer top is also observed effectively by taking average of all the variations of the boundary layer from time to time. The formation of boundary layer clouds are also observed while doing this Project at National Atmospheric Reasearch Laboratory in India.
