Since the launch of the first JPSS series of satellites- Suomi National Polar-orbiting Partnership (S-NPP) spacecraft in November 2011, a few updates have been made to SDR calibration tables and software to improve SDR data quality for the instruments onboard S-NPP. Ozone Mapping Profiler Suite (OMPS) nadir sensors on board S-NPP is designed to make measurements of the ultraviolet radiance backscattered by the Earth's atmosphere and surface and of the extra-terrestrial solar irradiance. OMPS on S-NPP bridges the gap of ozone records between Solar Backscatter Ultraviolet (SBUV) on POES and OMPS on future JPSS 1. In this paper, the updates to OMPS nadir sensors SDR calibration look-up-tables (LUTs) in the last four year are introduced. An OMPS SDR reprocessing experiment is done using the up-to-dated LUTs. Time series of reflectance calculated from reprocessed OMPS SDR are more stable compared to those calculated from real-time OMPS SDR, approves that reprocessed SDR has better data quality.
