Keynote Talk: Severe thunderstorms in Europe: An overview of known climatology, warning and forecasting issues

An overview of the known climatology of severe convective storms in Europe is presented. The presentation will discuss the locations of preferred European severe weather through the climatologies. This talk also discusses the severe storms warning and forecasting operations in different European national hydro-meteorological services.
