Broadcast meteorologists have always faced the challenge of being scientists on a medium that emphasizes entertainment. With the growth of cable and other delivery systems, the choices available to our viewers continue to expand.
This presentation will look at what has been a formula for success for many veteran broadcast meteorologists. But with the increased competition come strong warning signs that may mean danger to the profession. A look at these signs and suggestions on coping with them will conclude this presentation along with finding out what is amazing, incredible and unbelievable.
