A Mass Flux Component for the MYNN PBL Scheme in WRF

We are adding a mass flux component to the MYNN PBL scheme in WRF. This will improve vertical mixing by allowing for non-local transport, and provide seamless integration of boundary layer clouds. The goal is to include the scheme in future versions of the RAP and HRRR. The presentation will include some of the following: Single-column tests, comparison of multiple formulations, parameter optimization, and 3D tests in the Gray Zone case and in cases selected from the WFIP2 field campaign.
