Real Time :LIVE Weathercasts

Television weather broadcasts have now come full circle from the days of magnet boards to Weather Central’s newest on-air presentation system, :LIVE . :LIVE is a real-time PC-based weather graphics system that does not require the rendering of elements before a weather show. :LIVE’s real-time architecture includes unique features like up-to-the-minute imagery and data plots, as well as multiple video source feeds and interaction. Weather Central's patented MagicTRAK® technology gives :LIVE the unique ability to interactively control the show. While in the chroma-key, :LIVE literally places the command of the show at the tip of the weathercaster's finger. With interactive telestration, transitions, data plots and highlighting, :LIVE is by far the best weather storytelling tool available. Weathercaster’s have the ability to literally “browse” their show by touching areas of the screen and pulling out more localized information that is imbedded in the maps. This ability to make decisions on the fly, instead of having to prescript the weather show, is sure to be the wave of the future.
