The BBC Weather Centre is approaching the fiftieth anniversary of its first presented weather forecast on television. Mike Fish looks back at some of the history, discusses some of the lessons learned along the way and gives some insight into how we intend to apply those lessons in the multi-channel, multi-platform environment of the future.
