Studio One: Educating the broadcast meteorologist of tomorrow

Studio One is a live television show produced by the University of North Dakota Television Center. The one-hour program is produced by students and includes news, sports and weather segments. Students majoring and minoring in atmospheric sciences comprise a weather team that develops the weather segments. The Regional Weather Information Center at the John D. Odegard School for Aerospace Sciences provides students with a state of the art broadcast facility from which they develop and broadcast weather shows. Studio One is part of an effort to develop a broadcast meteorology program at the University of North Dakota.
