Bow echo often goes with strong wind. In the path of bow echo movement disastrous winds would happen. The wind strength varies differently in the path, in what position would the strongest damaging wind occur? T A typical bow echo observed on April 28th 2006 was analysed in this paper. The merging of two cells in the front of the bow echo intensified the development of the storm, and a mesocyclone occurred on the right side of which the damaging wind occurred. As the damaging wind occurred after the beginning of the heavy rain, it is possible that the precipitation draw the momentum from mid level to the ground, and the momentum and swath behind the bow echo have same direction, their overlay made the damaging wind.
