Monday, 5 October 2009
President's Ballroom (Williamsburg Marriott)
Alan Hall, NOAA/NESDIS/NCDC, Asheville, NC; and S. A. Del Greco and S. Ansari

The National Climatic Data Center (NCDC) is the one of the largest archives of land based radar data in the world. NCDC currently archives radar data from the United States (NEXRAD), Canada and South Korea in near real time. The archive currently contains both base (Level II) and products (Level III) dating back to the early 1990's for most US radars and some Department of Defense radars in foreign countries.

This poster will identify/highlight the operational processes of the ingest, assimilation and archive of the different data sources and streams. Portals to the data and tools to visualize Level II and Level III will be presented along with specifics about the archive and availability all data.
