9 Topics in Atmospheric Biogeosciences

Wednesday, 3 May 2023: 8:30 AM-10:00 AM
Scandinavian Ballroom Salon 1-2 (Royal Sonesta Minneapolis Downtown )
Hosts: (Joint between the Sixth Conference on Atmospheric Biogeosciences; and the 35th Conference on Agricultural and Forest Meteorology )
Chairs:
William Kustas, USDA, Hydrology & Remote Sensing Lab, Beltsville, MD and Tianxin Wang

This session focus on recent advances in methods and instrumentation (e.g., eddy covariance, surface renewal, and scintillometry) that have enhanced the accuracy and utility for measuring surface energy and trace gas fluxes in both natural and managed ecosystems. Presentation discussing both improvements to data collection and post-processing with these techniques and there application, e.g. to monitor ecosystem water use and carbon uptake, are welcome.
