Variational retrieval of three dimensional storm motions from multiple scanning Doppler radars is nothing new. However, most published results tend to focus on case and event studies. This presentation discusses the adaptation of existing retrieval techniques for routine generation of dynamical products for the Atmospheric Radiation Measurement Climate Facility (ACRF) fixed sites in Oklahoma and Darwin. The presentation will also discuss verification efforts using profiler (UHF and VHF) measurements of vertical velocity during the Mid-Latitude Continental Convective Clouds Experiment (MC3E) and initial comparisons to cloud resolving models from both MC3E and the Tropical Warm Pool - International Cloud Experiment (TWP-ICE).
