Fire Threat Resources and Forecasting

Weather influences both the potential for fires and their growth and movement once started. This paper will examine fire weather forecasting, the co-ordination of resources involved from anticipating the fire threat as well as fighting, controlling and extinguishing an active fire. The information and assistance available to broadcasters will also be explored.
